1st eSports Competition for VR: VR Challenger League Regionals @ Oculus Connect 4

The first-ever international eSports competition for virtual reality (VR) – The VR Challenger League presented by Intel in partnership with Oculus and the ESL – is approaching its North America regional finals this week at Oculus Connect 4. As the competitive event redefines what it means to be an athlete in both the physical and esports game space, wanted to check if you had any stories planned on how VR is changing sports?VR Challenger League’s first regionals will be livestreamed on Oct, 11 at 6 p.m. PT.

  • The eSports competition will feature VR titles which will push champions to the physical and technical cutting edge featuring “The Unspoken” from Insomniac Games and “Echo Arena” from Ready At Dawn Studios.
  • Players of the competition can win a prize pool of over $200,000 in cash and prizes.
