The experience was shot by Exzeb entirely from a first person point of view on the show’s real set and with its respective actors. As a result, the immersion is total and allows the fan to live its greatest dream: become the show’s hero. Making the viewer feel like being in the skin of a spy on a mission required the scriptwriters to forget traditional cinema language and explore 360 degree immerive and subjective storytelling . On the technical side, kinetic live action VR required the use of uniquely customized 360 degree camera rigs and the recreation of realistic 360 sound effects.

The final experience perfectly illustrates Canal+’s ambitions around VR: innovate without compromising quality and lead in what is destined to become tomorrow’s most immersive form of entertainment. The 360 experience is available on Canal+’s website. Julien Denoel, VR producer on the film, is available for interviews.
