The Immersive Technology Alliance’s (ITA) Immersed 2016 takes place at the Ontario Science Centre from October 16-18 in Toronto, Canada. “In PETA’s I, Chicken virtual reality experience participants take the perspective of a single chicken and literally see, hear and feel what it is like to be a small bird facing trouble. I am looking forward to sharing how PETA is using virtual reality, augmented reality, robotics, artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies to develop empathy for animals with the technologists, content creators and public attending Immersed 2016!” said James Rodgers, Technology Director for PETA.

“The ITA proudly organizes the annual Immersed conference because it showcases Canada’s contributions to new media like virtual and augmented reality.
