Nominations for the 2017 VR Awards Now Open

VR Bound is excited to announce the opening of nominations across 12 industry VR award categories, aimed at celebrating outstanding achievement in Virtual Reality.

With already over 100 pre-registered interests in nominating and interest growing daily, the awards ceremony planned for the 23rd September in the center of London is set to include an incredible lineup of award worthy nominees complete with a 3 course dinner, live entertainment and VIP after party.

The VR Awards features 12 categories, including:

  • VR Headset of the year

  • Mobile VR Headset of the Year

  • VR Hardware of the year

  • VR Game of the year

  • Innovative VR Company of the year

  • VR experience of the year

  • Most Creative use of Marketing in VR

  • Interactive VR Media / Film of the Year

  • VR Startup of the year

  • Best use of VR in Education and Training

  • Best use of VR in Healthcare

  • Best out of home VR entertainment

Nominations open: 13th March 2017
Nominations close: 1st May 2017
*Must be consumer ready by the 1st June

*Please note: Nominees can submit an unreleased product / service during this nomination period providing it is released and public by the 1st June.

Prospective nominees can register their nomination online by visiting https://awards.vrbound.com/nominate/. After this, they will be contacted by the awards team requesting further details which will then see them become shortlisted and enter the judging process. Over 27 expert judges will then review their application in preparation for the announcement of winners on the night of the awards.
