Press Conference of VR&AR Fair 2017 Held @ Guangzhou, China on November 30
Preparatory Conference & Summit for Guangdong Virtual Reality & Argumented Reality Industry Association & Press Conference for Asia VR & AR Fair draw a successful close on November 30th in Guangzhou, China. Several industry bigwigs had dimensional analysis and discussions on the VR hardware, content, technology, application and future development during the round-table dialogues. Furthermore, 2017 Asia VR & AR Fair & Summit was unveiled to stage during March 8-11, 2017 in Area A of China Import & Export Fair Complex.
Over recent years, in China, VR industry has been under the spotlights and encouraged to develop towards innovation with full support from national governments such as National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China and others. Under this beneficial circumstance, a variety of VR industry alliances, industry towns have sprung up and deeply expanded in the fields of tourism, shopping, medical treatment, education, entertainment, design, real estate, military industry, national defense and other application markets. Statistically, in 2016, it is predicted to ship approximately 6.3 million VR HMD (Head Mounted Display) around the world, among which 40 % products are made in China. The grand event was performed with the aim of beefing up the healthy development of Guangdong VR & AR industry and boosting the prosperous of Guangdong cultural industry.
The vice general manager of GCABLE, Mr. Tan Yiyi claimed on the conference that the company has been making vigorous promotion on the technical innovation and building an optimal bridge for the households enjoying the VR & AR video programs. Along with the advanced Intelligent Home Gateway and Set-Top Box(STB), a great amount of VR video content can be transmitted to every family by GCABLE. It is expected that the exclusive and high-end VR video programs will become a new growth point in the future.
Mr. Wang Shengshen ,as the secretary general of Guangdong VR Industry Alliance, denoted that Guangdong VR & AR ecology is taking shape in a speedy development. As the earliest organization stepping into the VR industry ecological development, Guangdong VR Industry Alliance has launched programs including VR + Construction, VR+ Education, and VR+ Internet so as to facilitate the whole industrial application. As the inaugural event, we firmly believe that the event will be more and more mature and an increasing amount of items of next period will be showcased in next April or May. Mr. Wang added, the Chinese distinguished director Mr. Zhang Yimou and other film & television professionals are devoting into the VR industry. It is plausible that VR industry is bound to be more diversified, creating a quite impressive experience for the consumers.
VR technology has been favored in various sector and numerable enterprises, individuals and capitalists are attracted into the VR industry. Miss Yang Cai, as the chairman assistant and project manager of Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group introduced, “ 2017 Asia VR & AR Fair & Summit is scheduled to perform for four tours which are held respectively in Guangzhou (in Mar.8-11), Wuhan (in May) and South Africa (in Aug.), Beijing (in Nov.).
