VRLA is the leading virtual reality expo event in Los Angeles, home to one of the biggest communities of VR enthusiasts, developers, evangelists, pioneers, and early adapters.
Since VRLA’s first Meetup event with just a few VR enthusiasts and pioneers back in 2013, the VRLA community has expanded into one of the largest and most important VR events in California!
We’ve attended VRLA’s events since 2014, and we have witnessed the exponential growth of the community. VRLA Spring 2015 has 3000+ attendees, and we shall expect the number of attendees with a great increase!

Second Annual Proto Awards Currently Accepting Entry Submission
The organizer of VRLA Summer Expo 2015, the Virtual Reality Foundation, also announced confirmed date and venue for Proto Awards, an annual event that announces and promotes VR developers and pioneers on their innovations and achievements.
For this year, on September 22, the second annual Proto Awards will take place at Club Avalon in Los Angeles ( 71735 Vine St., Hollywood, CA ), an infamous and long-running electronic music party venue. The contestant submission starts from July 1 – July 15, 2015. More details on this page.
