VRstudios Lands Entertainment Customers in Italy, France and Russia – Rolls Out Plans for Its European Operations and Multiple Distribution Locations

VRstudios is entering Europe in big way in response to the demand for its first-to-market commercial wireless virtual reality (VR) solutions.

VRstudios, a leading global VR technology company offering immersive commercial entertainment and enterprise solutions, announced several signs of continued global traction today. The company revealed new entertainment customers in Italy, Russia and France, as well as rollout plans for new European operations and multiple distribution locations. VRstudios also named Kevin Vitale, formerly EVP of International Operations, its new president.

VRstudios will expand its European infrastructure in order to bring specialized support and services closer to their growing base of international customers and distributors. “We are quickly carving out a major presence in Europe in response to the increasing enthusiasm and commitment for our first-to-market VR entertainment solutions,” said Kevin Vitale, President of VRstudios. “Every country has a different approach to doing business. It’s important that we provide the structure and timely support to accommodate these practices and needs.”

According to Vitale, VRstudios is already delivering what others in the industry are promising to do in the next year or two – a wireless, full-range-of-motion, multi-participant immersive experience that is worthy of commercial entertainment and enterprise business applications.

Three major European entertainment customers from gaming centers, cinema and the food and beverage industries were also unveiled. “Much of our international demand is coming from arcades, theme parks and other location-based entertainment companies who are looking for a way to distinguish themselves from home-based experiences,” said Charles Herrick, CEO of VRstudios. “While we plan to offer a broad array of technology, with VRstudios’ wireless technology, you can choose not to wear a backpack or limit yourself to the computing power of a cell phone. This is generating great appeal to many of the most recognized theme parks on the planet. VRstudios is setting the standard for the out-of-home immersive experience.”

SNR S.r.l (www.3dwa.it), the world’s first hyper reality theme park in Feletto Umberto, Italy is taking its fantasy gaming business to the next level with VRstudios. “VRstudios provides 3DWA VR capabilities and end-to-end solutions that no other VR company could offer,” said Massimiliano Soresini, CEO and Co-Founder of SNR. “With the VRstudios system and rich VR content pool, our entertainment centers can now offer innovative immersive experiences that will help us attract new customers, add more value to our existing clientele and build additional revenue streams for our business.”

Avalon Pub and VR Gaming (www.avalon-pub.com) in Toulouse, France and Cinema Illuzion (www.illuzionpark.ru) in Vladivostok, Russia are using VR studios systems and content to expand their entertainment options and differentiate their venues. “VRstudios allows Avalon to bring a form of entertainment that sets us apart from other food and beverage venues and offer a one-of-a-kind experience that keeps customers coming back countless times,” said Jeremy Guiraud, owner of Avalon Pub and VR Gaming. “Players are amazed by the visuals, that they can freely move around and interact in a way that makes them believe they are in a Zombie’s world. They love the immersive experience and we love the happy customers.”

“We chose VRstudios because it is a cost-effective system with great potential to grow and evolve,” added Anton Alekseenko, CEO of Illuzion. “We studied the VR market extensively to find the best solution that cannot be experienced at home, could be installed in almost any job site and would not be too hard to maintain and use. “VRstudios beat out other options and it was the one for which we were looking.”

Today’s expansion news follows the company’s existing foothold in Asia, the Middle East, United States and Canada.

Vitale, a seasoned C-level technology executive joined VRstudios in May and has quickly ignited the company’s international presence. “Since Kevin’s appointment to VRstudios, results of Kevin’s international experience and expertise have helped to capitalize on and secure the burgeoning international interest in VRstudios,” added Herrick. “Kevin has a strong history of growing successful companies in all markets and his new appointment as president will ensure that VRstudios can accelerate leveraging his proven value to the company.”
