Forrest Brady, VP of hardware startup accelerator Highway1, will also keynote on the “Hidden Costs of Hardware.” He will discuss common pitfalls and share his personal experiences with startups while drawing on his background at Highway1, where he has accelerated 67 hardware startups that have gone on to raise $76 million in venture and crowd funding.
Other notable speakers include Nick Crocker, MyFitnessPal's Product Innovation Lead; John Feland, Founder and CEO of Argus Insights; Jenny Tong, Developer Advocate on Cloud at Google; and Jocelyn Vigreux, President of TomTom, Inc.
In addition to the program, Wearables TechCon also offers an exhibition hall that runs the gamut of companies that are OEMs to those selling SDKs or want to license hardware and software.
