Gunjack – CCP Games’ First VR Game Title Release For Mobile VR Gaming
CCP Games, the game studio behind one of best VR game I’ve played so far – Eve Valkyrie, is launching a new game title called Gunjack, previously known as Project Nemesis. Project Nemesis was first debuted at EVE Fanfest that took place at Reykjavik. Gunjack is tailored made for mobile VR and will be released on Samsung Gear VR’s platform.
There are only a few games available on Samsung Gear that are worth playing over and over again, there are several paid games that we regretted paying for, not to mention the free ones. Most of the games are boring and too generic. There are some nice exceptions, but not many.
“The point is not to go into a very complex experience, putting multiple inputs on different parts of the panel to shoot at stuff, Just have one button; make it fun; and put a smile on [the player’s] face after five seconds.” JC Gaudechon from CCP Games ( via Engadget )
“Our goal was nothing less than creating the best game yet for the Gear VR headset. Our team has focused on delivering the most action-packed, graphically-stunning game possible on this new virtual reality platform.” By Jean Charles, Gunjack Executive Producer ( via Engadget )
Gunjack is exceptional, just like Eve Valkyrie, the graphic is sleek, beautiful, intricate and very well executed. The game control is simple, players use Gear VR’s touchpad to fire by tapping and target enemies by moving heads. This would be a mobile VR game that I am willing to pay for! The price for the mobile VR game has not been announced and Gunnjack will be available some time this fall!
