YouTube’s Live-Streaming 360 Performance Is Happening Now For The First Time
It seems to be a trend that VR tech companies are partnering with artists and musicians to produce 360-degree music videos from around the world, or what’s even better is a live streaming 360 performance. YouTube came to The Verge asking them to bring on an artist for the premiere performance on YouTube’s Live 360 platform.
It is happening now live with The Verge, bringing you the first ever 360-degree live stream from the YouTube Space LA, with The Verge’s Emily Yoshida and indie pop star D∆WN.
D∆WN is an American singer-songwriter, started her career after auditioning for Making the Band 3 in 2004, and later became a member of girl band Danity Kane between 2005 to 2009. The group was reformed with 3 of the original 5 members in late 2013. D∆WN is the first musician ever to perform live on 360-streaming video on YouTube.

Then open the YouTube app, and paste into the search box.
For an immersive experience, you can watch 360 degree videos with Cardboard via the YouTube app. Once the 360 video is launched, simply click the Cardboard icon on the lower right corner and insert phone into the Cardboard.
