Dextra Global VR Summit: First Summit on VR in VR
Dextra is a global collaborative platform for creative endeavors, bringing together professionals and aspiring professionals in 250 “dexes” (or creative concentrations) around the world. Dextra will be hosting its very first creative festival: the Dextra Global VR Summit at the end of October.
Dextra has assembled 25+ thought leaders and visionaries from the VR industry to explore the state of the industry and game-changing technology through the lens of creative applications. Speaking on the origins of the Summit, Dextra CEO Divyaansh Anuj said, “At Dextra, we empower organizations and individuals to express themselves by collaborating across all genres of creativity. VR is at the cutting edge of human expression. Being an online global community, it made sense to do an event which has no physical or geographical limitations. To bring the same sense of interaction as with a physical event, while highlighting the capabilities of the technology, we decided to do the summit in VR. We felt it to be crucial to expose our extremely talented community to what they can do with VR and what VR could do for them.”
The four-day event will feature panels, speakers and demos from companies such as NVIDIA, HumanEyes, Sketchfab, Lucid VR and Digital Domain. The Summit will be held virtually allowing users to join anywhere via smartphone or computer. Registration at https://www.dextra.art/
