EchelonVR launches Virtual Reality Android App for Heavy Equipment Dealers
EchelonVR, the virtual reality content development company based out of Santa Clara has rolled out the Android version of its new virtual reality dealership app. Heavy equipment dealers can download and experience the app for free on the Google Play store.
The VR Dealership app lets dealers showcase heavy equipment portfolio to customers located anywhere in the world. Optimized for Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard headsets, the current version of the app offers an immersive virtual experience of a heavy equipment garage.
Users can walk inside a virtual garage. Machines like haul truck, backhoe loader, excavator and front loader are parked inside. Users can move closer to each machine to observe intricate details of the machinery.
“The underlying idea is to enable customers to view your product portfolio before they walk into your dealership. We believe offering experiences to customers is more influential in closing a sales deal and virtual reality is the best way to do it,” says Satish Penmetsa, CEO, EchelonVR.
With the inclusion of analytics, dealers can get detailed insights around customer’s behaviour and intent.
“The app is ready to be customized for heavy equipment dealers. You can showcase more heavy equipment models and demonstrate machines operating in their native environments,” adds Satish.
The app is available for download on the Google Play store. To experience the app, users can use a Google Cardboard or a Samsung Gear VR virtual reality headset.
