GloveOne: Feel & Interact With Virtual Object W/ Hands
GloveOne enables users to feel and interact with virtual objects with hands. Created by NeuroDigital Technology, a company founded by Luis Castillo and Francisco Nieto in 2012.
GloveOone enables users to feel and touch any virtual object that they can see on the screen or in their VR headsets. If a virtual apple is shown on the screen, with Gloveone you will be able to feel its shape or weight, sense all of its physical features, and even smash it!
From 2014 – 2015, five prototypes of Gloveone have been developed, each iteration including new features and technical improvements. On top of a built-in 9 degree of freedom (DOF) IMU, a lighthouse tracking will be added to the consumer version, which will ship in February 2016.
GloveOne’s successful Kickstarter campaign achieved its $150,000 goal and the campaign will end next week. As of now, starting from $199, backers will receive GloveOne early bird package!
