According to the studio, the release of “Pulp Friction” is one of the rare occasions when the production team focused on nostalgia to connect with its audience and the gamble has paid off, as the scene enjoyed an 85 percent member approval rating.
In “Pulp Friction,” the viewer plays the role of an iconic hitman with all the right moves, while Leah shines as the flirtatious, barefoot wife of the big boss. After winning a heated dance competition, the viewer returns for a little extra fun and to live dangerously with this dancing, dark-haired diva.
For the 47-minute, 180-degree VR production, the crew’s precision stationary camera was used, giving the audience a unique perspective on the variety of sex positions and actions. The video has been tagged with missionary, doggy style, cowgirl and reverse cowgirl among other popular subcategories.
“When we considered doing another parody, we wanted to avoid some of the overused ideas we see today,” said a studio representative. “While anime or video game characters look colorful on set, they can often feel empty or one-dimensional. Leah enjoyed getting into character and it really showed in her performance.”
“In the hours following the release,” the representative added, “users continued to relive this iconic film from the 1990s with a naughty twist and enjoyed Leah Winters like never before.”
As with the approximately 360 other VR scenes at WankzVR, the new scene is compatible with Oculus, Vive, PSVR, Gear VR, Daydream, Cardboard and Mixed Reality headsets and is joined by two new scenes every week, with both streaming and downloadable options in a multitude of video resolutions.
