360 Degree Video & Google 360 View Tour of Emirates A380 Cockpit

Ever since childhood, I always dreamed of becoming an airplane pilot cruising the sky. But I ended up writing articles, but it’s all good because now with virtual reality 360 video technology, you can experience pretty much anything as if you were there.

Watch veteran pilot Ziarno and first officer Abdulrahman Mohamed Al Busaeed give an immersive VR view tour of the flight deck controls of an Emirate A380, the world’s largest passenger aircraft.

Emirates is currently the largest operator of the Airbus A380. Emirate will be having 21 new A380s joining their fleet this year, and 41 more on the way for the future.

Most of my friends working in the airline industry all want to join Emirates sometime in the future because of the excellent benefits that the airline offer.

“Emirates pilots enjoy a competitive tax free salary, company accommodation, medical and dental insurance, annual leave and more, in addition to living a lifestyle with access to high standards of education, leisure and sports in a city that is ranked as one of the most desirable locations in the world for families – Dubai.”

However, hired crew members must relocate to Dubai, and the trainees go through a week training process begins where they are taught everything, from crew image and uniform, fitness and nutrition, evacuating planes to applying makeup flawlessly. They’ll learn how to turn a tray of duty-free goods into an attractive display, and earn an international safety certificate.

“It’s easy to think that the role of cabin crew is only about the visible aspects of service.” Baird reiterates, “but it’s also the medical, security and safety and emergency procedures. Service, however, is part of the core of our business and safety is the heart of our operation.”

Emirates has previously offered a 360-degree look inside its A380 cabins via Google Street View. This is definitely one of the best party airplanes known to mankind.
