Asgard’s Wrath is designed with a breathtaking detailed and visual presentation. From beginning to finish, the graphic is stunning. Throughout the game, you will be guided by a being call Loki, who serves as your guide as the story unfolds, dishing out essentisl tips, guideline and tutorials to support you moving forward in the epic adventure!
In Asgard’s Wrath, You get to switch between the mortal mode and the god modes depending on the scenario and situation, in the beginning, you actual start out the game as the god of spirit animals and you can switch to mortal mode as you progress.
In god mode, you can bless an animal and make them your ally who is ready for combat along your side. They are coined as your followers who supports you in your battle as they mutate into some potent creatures with combat capacities. Our favorite is a Turtle named Hulda!
Players swing their sword to defeat enemies and parry to deflect attacks. The weapon can be thrown at enemies and magically summoned back to the player’s hand. Some of these weapons have status properties such as lightning and poison. Players need to consume food to restore health. As players explore, they can complete side missions, explore dungeons and find treasure chests and crates that can be used to craft useful materials.
The mortal character each has its own unique weapons and characters, there are sword, magic spell, crossbow and explosives. There are four characters you can select from!
Besides the main quest, there are hidden and side challenges and quests for you to discover. Such as Torch Challenges, Puzzle Game, Target Challenges, Ancient Challenges and etc… This additional feature makes the game immensely exciting, gives you the utter feeling of treasure hunter as you journey along the main storyline.
Asgard’s Wrath has one of the best visual presentation we have seen in VR games. With intricate details in every scene and environment. The soundtrack and effect are equally impressive.
So, together all the elements combined has made the seemingly long hero’s journey battling others gods and monsters immensely and enormously entertaining! The game will only cost you $39.99 USD, frankly speaking, we would say it is worth so much more than that! An epic and impressive VR single-player game that totally worth the price and your time spent. We’d highly recommend it.
