Award Winning Sandbox Building Sim, RoboCo, Goes All In For VR

Build robots of the future like never before, with fully-integrated VR Challenges

Roboco is now fully playable in VR! Filament Games’ high-tech, engineering sandbox, RoboCo, has a new blog post and in it, Lead Game Designer, Luke, deep-dives on its its core Campaign and VR mode, talking all things virtual reality.

From significant improvements to the user interface, manually adjusting the VR camera, to an increased number of playable Challenges and refactoring the code for our human systems, no virtual stone is left unturned as the game heads towards its 2021 release. With every Campaign task now playable in VR, players will be able to experience the game in a whole new way.

Creative, educational and hilarious, RoboCo tasks players with designing remote controlled robots to solve the ridiculous problems of hapless humans, as creatively (or chaotically) as they like. Set to launch via Steam Early Access in early 2021, with an Open Beta event planned for later this year, RoboCo has already received multiple awards and nominations.

With full VR support, alongside the traditional mouse and keyboard, RoboCo has room for the most advanced robot engineers to immerse themselves in this wobbly cartoon universe and see their mechanical marvels come to life.
