About Badoink VR

Based in New York, Badoink VR was established in 2005, and became one of the earliest adaptors of virtual reality porn. They have been at the forefront producing some of the most classic VR porn scenes to date, utilizing advanced recording technologies currently available. Back in March 2016, they partnered up with Pornhub, and this collaboration provided Badoink VR a distinct advantage to become an immediate leader in adult VR.

The company offers both 180 and 260 degree scenes all shot in first person (POV) perspective. Viewer can feel the immersion simulating being inside the video, while the audios are recorded with binaural sound to heighten the experience.

Badoink VR definitely has a high standard when it comes to talent selection and production technology. They work closely with subscribers on their forum to continuously improve their work. The studio won the 2016 XBIZ Best VR Site of the Year, and certainly have some of the best produced scenes to date. We feel the only studios comparable with with same style and content are Naughty America VR, Wankz VR, and VR Bangers. If you are looking for more European amateur style movies we would recommend checking VirtualRealPorn and Czech VR.

User Review

Vrporntimes.com reviewed Badoink VR. One of their favorite scene of all time was “Busting a Nun” starring Blake Eden. In the scene Badoink seems have captured the perfect distance between the performer and camera. The overall ratio was excellent. The producer made sure that immersion quality is not distorted while the female performer is up close.

Virtual porn or VR porn is primarily captured in a POV (point of view) angle in 180 degrees of immersion. Most early adopters in adult VR faced challenges at first with technical issues such as scaling and motion blur issues. However, summer of 2016, Badoink VR utilized new recording technologies that made very good improvement to their footages.

Resolutions are provided at full HD with minimum 1080p, picture quality possibly best in the industry. The search-ability on their website is just ok. The site has a filter function that can sort out preferences, but unable to search and find specific performer or scene.

Badoink is currently on the top leader’s chart, and will likely to stay there for a while. They are firmly positioned as one of the best VR porn studios in the industry, while striving to put out better content with better viewing experience and technology. They also have a VR theatre mode for streaming where user do not need to remove headsets as it is hands free navigation.

Which headset to use

Entry level

Cardboard – these headsets are by far the most economical. If you are just testing the water for VR, this will be a good one to try before commit to buying something more expensive. You get what you paid for, so don’t expect the best quality.

Gear VR – if you already have a Samsung Galaxy compatible smartphone, this will be a good headset for viewing Badoink VR movies. Facebook owned Oculus co-developed this classic headset alongside with Samsung, and offer mobility and good quality for viewing immersive content. Unlike Cardboard, Gear VR is equipped with touchpad for user to navigate through menus and accessing button for adjusting focus and volume.

Advance level

Oculus Go standalone headset

Oculus Go – the company aims to renew it’s mobile VR to expand beyond the collaboration on Gear VR with Samsung. This new standalone headset has 3 degrees of freedom, and does not require a mobile phone or computer to power. This will have a built-in display and integrate audio output. Shipment begins early 2018, while developers are already receiving their kits since November 2017.

According to Mr. Mark Zuckerberg,

“it’s the most accessible VR headset yet;” it starts at $199 and it’s going to ship early next year. It appears that the mobile headset will be a similar experience to the Gear VR, allowing users to spin around but not move freely.

Oculus Santa Cruz – the new standalone wireless headset has 6 degrees of freedom, enabling the user to walk around in a virtual scene. We feel the potential to integrate this new headset with Lytro Reality Experiences, as porn is always a key driving factor to new technology to breakthrough. Currently VR porn movies is a passive experience, but we can only envision immersion to be more interactive in the future.

Of course, we always recommend HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and PSVR for viewing Badoink VR content.
