Community Vibe is Electric, as Voting Begins for the Players Choice 2016 VR Experience of the Year

The inaugural VR of the Year Awards have officially kicked off. A celebration of the years finest VR titles picked by the gaming community. For the next four weeks player votes will determine the top 50 (announced December 11) and then the overall winner announced shortly after Christmas.

It’s been an incredibly exciting year for VR. With many great titles grabbing the eyes of thousands of keen VR enthusiasts, it’s anyone’s guess who might be crowned our inaugural champion. Will a solid foundation for Minecraft help its VR update transcend the pack, or perhaps the vertigo-inducing games such as The Climb, Eagle Flight and the out-of-this-world ADR1FT be strong challengers? Will the release of new controllers like the Oculus Touch elevate the year’s latest releases in new and exciting ways? For more information on the event including a live scoreboard and how to vote head over to the official awards page.

From now until the close of 2016, join us in celebrating the remarkable work VR developers do, in pursuit of creating something remarkable for us gamers to enjoy.
