Crytek Announced VR First Program & First Ever VR First Lab @ Istanbul’s Bahçeşehir University
Crytek, a game studio founded by three brothers Avni, Cevat and Faruk Yerli in 1999. Crytek has developed its own game developing software called CRYENGINE, a popular game developing software among game developers and licensees when creating games for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation®4, Wii UTM, iOS and Android.

The game studio has just made public announcement about it’s new initiative with academic institutions called “VR First”. VR First is aim to provide the newest technologies, and most advanced equipment to enable students to develop VR content. Students will have access to CRYENGINE and hardware equipment supported by VR First’s industry partners. All will be housed in facilities dubbed VR First Lab.
The first VR First Lab is opened and located at Istanbul’s Bahçeşehir University and is set to be the first pilot destination to lead the program. To learn more, check out VR First official page.
