DIGILITY 2018: MR, VR, AR, AI Focused B2B Conference & Expo
Augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), 3-dimensionality (3D) and computer-generated imaging (CGI), as well as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning will be the core themes of DIGILITY 2018.
The leading B2B conference and expo for digital reality in Central Europe will also once again present state-of-the-art technologies and an extraordinary lecture program in its third edition from 26-27 September 2018.
Potential speakers and companies can submit their themes for the conference and suggest what they would like to present at DIGILITY. In demand are real, productive use cases, as well as visionary or ethical/morally explicit approaches to the areas of focus of DIGILITY, for example:
How can value creation be pursued with existing technologies?
How does one harmonize visionary approaches and strategic corporate objectives? What are the obstacles to the complete commercialization of AR/VR/MR technologies? Themes can be submitted by way of https://www.digility.de/conference/call-for-speakers/ until the beginning of June.
The application forms for exhibitors are also available as of now online at https://www.digility.de/exposition/become-an-exhibitor/.
For the first time, the DIGILITY team is supported in the conception and defining of content of the event by an advisory board. With the help of experts with scientific and economic backgrounds, it should be ensured that DIGILITY also retains its proximity to the needs of industry and research.
Previous members of the advisory board:
– Jörg Bienert (Chairman of the KI-Bundesverband – German association for artificial intelligence / aiso-labs)
– Prof. Kai Buehler (RFH Cologne – University of Applied Sciences)
– Patrick Ehlen (Loop AI Labs)
– Prof. Christian Geiger (Hochschule Düsseldorf – University of Applied Sciences/ Lavalabs)
– Arne Ludwig (EDFVR e.V. – First German Business Association for Immersive Media, Headtrip)
– Alysha Naples (TinDrum, formerly Magic Leap)
– Christian Sander (Dear Reality)
– Kathleen Schröter (Fraunhofer Heinrich-Hertz-Institut)
– Prof. Christopher Wickenden (Hochschule Fresenius – University of Applied Sciences)
A Developer Conference will also take place for the first time in the context of DIGILITY. The Hackathon, which already took place successfully in 2017, will this year take place prior to DIGILITY (at 9/24.-25.) in order to enable participants a visit to the conference. The new Digital Campus incube8 of Koelnmesse, across from the Cologne exhibition halls, was chosen as a location.
Tickets for DIGILITY cost 79 Euro for a day and 149 Euro for both days. Included is access to both the Expo and the conference, as well as to photokina, which is taking place parallel. https://www.digility.de/conference/ticket-shop/
As of now, media representatives can acquire accreditation at the website of DIGILITY for the event.
