Easiest Way to Share 360 Degree Image and VR Videos on Facebook

Sharing your 360 content may never be easier!

Facebook and YouTube are now two of the largest virtual reality 360 video hosting platforms, but things do not stop there for Facebook. Facebook announced that they will be releasing a new feature that let’s users upload panorama images in the usual way, but instead of viewing the traditional short stretched-out panorama photo, the viewer will be able to see the images in a 360 degree, enabling the viewer to pan around with finger swipes, or “tilting” to see various angles from the scene.

 

 

The image converted to a 360-degree view will be viewable on compatible web browsers, also iOS and Android smartphones. For Gear VR users, Facebook will enable you to view these photos in virtual reality mode, by a simple “View in VR” button.

 

360-degree image allow the audience to experience the photo as if they are in the perspective of the photographer, except that the viewer is able to see thing in every possible angle, as many times as they wish.
