A DAYTIME EMMY AWARD WIN FOR Inside the Box of Kurios: A Virtual Reality Experience From Cirque du Soleil Média and Felix & Paul Studios
Inside the Box of Kurios, a virtual reality experience created and produced by Cirque du Soleil Média and Felix & Paul Studios has won a Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Interactive Media – Original Daytime Program or Series category. This is Cirque du Soleil’s second Emmy Award in its 32 years history; the first was won for Best Reality Series with Fire Within.
The 9-minute extravaganza immerses the user into Cirque du Soleil’s touring show KURIOS™ Cabinet of Curiosities. The user takes center stage in a dreamlike realm that disorients the senses and challenges perceptions, leaving you wondering if you have imagined the entire experience. Cirque du Soleil Média has partnered with Felix & Paul Studios, a worldwide leader in virtual reality storytelling and technology, to create this revolutionary VR experience. Inside the Box of Kurios is available on Samsung’s GearVR for Galaxy Note 4, Note 5, S6, S6 Edge and S7, S7 Edge.
