The Future of Audio Production in VR and AR
Dear Reality announces dearVR Spatial Connect, a completely new workflow to mix spatial audio while being in VR & AR with any common Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) connected to HTC Vive or Oculus Rift.
As Unity and Unreal Engine bank on content creation while being in VR with their upcoming VR editor tools, it will become the workflow of the future. This applies for spatial audio, too. The dearVR Spatial Connect software enables any sound designer, musician or sound engineer to create immersive 3D audio content in VR.

The novel workflow with HTC Vive or Oculus Rift enables intuitive positioning and mixing of sound objects directly with VR controllers, which is way more intuitive than putting things around with the mouse on a 2D screen. dearVR Spatial Connect closes the gap between any DAW and the VR world. All automation data written in the DAW can be exported as object-based audio to the Unity game engine for VR or 360° production. Additionally, scene based Ambisonic output formats for YouTube 360 or Facebook 360 are supported.
