攻殼機動隊 Ghost In The Shell: Virtual Reality Diver 360 10 Minutes Full-Experience Coming Soon

Ghost In the Shell is an epic theatrical story about futurist world, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and robot warfare. Started as an anime series, it has expanded into a popular cartoon series, and also Hollywood movie title that’s set to be theater worldwide in 2017.

In celebration of the 25 years anniversary of Ghost In The Shell 攻殼機動隊, a new theatrical version and immeresive VR experience dubbed Virtual Reality Diver will have its official launch in the winter of 2015.

A teaser trailer and a Youtube 360 video has been released, showing the moment of birth of 草薙素子, the female main character who is a robot.

Japanese animation production studio Production I.G has teamed up with SIGN, a multimedia creative studio, and produced a 360 project with the title “Ghost In the Shell: Virtual Reality Diver”.

Ghost In the Shell:Virtual Reality Diver made its first public debut at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, and the full-length 360 experience will be available for IOS and Android users sometime this winter.

The app will feature a 10 minutes 360 experience that sells for approximately $4 USD.
