GoPro Launching New 360 Video Platform

GoPro is also launching a new 360 video platform for VR videos, hosting curated GoPro VR video content. GoPro VR is available for both Android and iOS starting today. Consider GoPro VR as a rebranding of Kolor Eyes, a VR video platform acquired by the company alongside a video stitching software.

Compatible with VR headset, GoPro says that app will showcase original content from GoPro and a global community of artists, suggesting a combination of the company’s sponsored extreme sport athletes and user-generated content.
