HoloFilm Productions, a leading developer of content solutions and adult virtual reality (VR) technology, is bolstering its library of virtual reality erotic content for new XXX site HoloGirlsVR with its third all-star porn shoot, bringing together the top performers within the industry. Joining the group of HoloGirls that already includes last year’s AVN Performer of the Year and Best New Starlet, this shoot will include this year’s top award winners.

“HoloGirlsVR is ushering in the most sophisticated era of porn yet,” says Brian Shuster, founder of Holofilm Productions and CEO of VR adult community Red Light Center. “Although it is very early in the timeline for Virtual Reality products, the erotic experiences that we’re capturing and delivering to consumers is unlike any porn content they’ve ever seen. We’re far ahead of any other production company in terms of the kinds of experiences and scenes were shooting and the caliber of performers that we’re capturing.”

1sThe result is plain to see. HoloGirlsVR is the only company – adult or not – that is capturing VR scenes with a proprietary technololgy, NoSick™ that prevents viewers from becoming nauseous from the VR experience. The scenes are fully immersive and shot in a variety of formats ranging from 220-degrees to 360-degrees.

“We think about each scene and how we want the viewer to participate,” Shuster continued. “That means the cameras and the performers are all situated in a way that will allow the scene to be watched in a comfortable position – with no need for the viewer to have to crane or strain to see what’s happening. That’s one of the key things that’s been lacking in VR Porn to date – consideration for the comfort of the person who’s ultimately going to be experiencing the scene. That’s important if you want people to enjoy these amazing erotic experiences every day.”

  1. Why and how did Holofilm Productions decide to get into adult entertainment industry?

At the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in January 2015, my company Utherverse launched our VR Version of Red Light Center – a massive multi-user adult virtual world. The VR demo was the highlight of the Expo, and tens of thousands of attendees came through our booth to enjoy the experience.

Although the RLC Demo in VR was an unqualified hit with the people at the show, the main question I got was whether there was actual filmed porn in the VR world we were showcasing.

By the end of the Expo, I was convinced that Red Light Center was a bit ahead of its time in offering a fully virtual-world adult VR experience. The first step in bringing the masses into VR needed to be simpler; it needed to be ultra-high quality Virtual Reality porn that transported the viewer into the scene with the porn stars.

Shortly after that Expo, I returned to Vancouver to form HoloFilm Productions and set out to raise funds and bring on studios and talent to film the very best adult VR content.

  1. Is HoloGirlsVR the main focus of Holofilm Productions in the future?

Right now, HoloGirlsVR.com is the main focus of HoloFilms; however there are plans to branch out very quickly. Over time, HoloFilms looks to develop into a portal for a wide range of studios that will share a common VR player and recording systems.

We have already done extensive work in researching and developing new tools, camera and software to bring up the quality of VR filmed for adult content (and non-adult content) and to bring down the costs associated with the production. We have invented and developed software to extend VR viewing from simply playing back a surround-video to become an interactive and even multi-user networked environment

The advantages of working with a large group of producers is that everyone can share in the costs involved in inventing and developing the next generation systems, and everyone gets to benefit from those systems – including most of all, the end viewers and consumers.

  1. What is HoloGirlsVR’s plan for 2016?

HoloGirlsVR.com will announce VR production deals with major studios throughout 2016. We intend to ramp up the output of VR Experiences from the 3 per week schedule we are now on, up to 12-15 per week over the course of the year.

Some of those scenes will explore new genres and niches including gay and transgender content; we will launch dedicated web sites (HoloBoysVR.com and HoloTransVR.com) later this year.

  1. What equipment does use need to enjoy and view HoloGirlVR’s content?

HoloGirls content is output in four different formats to ensure that a user with any open VR device can play our content.

  1. Which VR headset does HoloGirlsVR service currently supports?

Anyone with a cardboard, GearVR, Oculus Rift, Vive or any Android or Apple compatible Plastic VR headset should have no trouble enjoying all the HoloGirl Experiences.

Perhaps more importantly, we shoot some content specifically to be viewed by Mobile Phone users with low-end headsets. Though these scenes can be watched with a headset like an Oculus Rift, our studio has chosen not to limit our scenes to things that are best viewed by a person tethered to a computer.

For example, one type of scene we produce is Upskirt/Face-Sitting. These scenes are best experienced by a viewer lying down on a bed or sofa, looking straight up. It is easier to view a scene this way if you have a portable VR viewer than if you need to be attached to a computer.

We always offer a recommended viewing position depending on how the scene was shot. This information allows our members to get the maximum enjoyment out of each experience with HoloGirls.

  1. What is your vision for virtual reality porn in the next 5-10 years?

Through my various companies (Utherverse and HoloFilms) I have been fortunate to be involved in all aspects of VR and AR (Augmented Reality) as well as Haptics (remote touch). These three areas are rapidly converging, and the outcome is going to be fast and vast!

I am expecting VR to become an indispensable tool for businesses within 2 to 3 years. Over that time, it will have merged with AR such that meetings, conventions, shared workspaces and documents – will all tend to take place by networked interaction and headsets.

A huge wave of consumers will be drawn in to VR this year as headset prices drop and ultimately become free (with purchase of a phone, for example). These consumers will initially be drawn in for the adult content, but the sheer size of the consumer base will draw in businesses of every kind.

A new version of the Virtual World Wide Web will rapidly become the primary way in which people communicate and interact over the Internet

In 3-5 years, most forms of entertainment, education, business and government will shift from the physical world to a VR/AR environment on the VWW. The cost of everything (attending a concert, attending a convention, having a wedding…) will plummet as these things become accessible through VR.

Touching on the Haptics front, second generation Haptics (teledildonics) devices will begin to be sold to consumers later in 2016. These new devices are easier to use and integrate with VR headsets, and they simulate real sex and stimulate people better. (These are already developed and in production)

The third-generation teledildonics are being prototyped by the major companies right now. This generation will be a total game-changer. They will be more expensive, but when used in conjunction with specially-shot VR porn scenes, the viewer will feel and experience everything as if it’s really happening. We can expect third-generation teledildonics devices to debut to the public within 2-3 years.

  1. Is Holofilm Productions plan to expand to VR porn for the ladies, and also catering gay community?

Absolutely yes! We are looking forward to bringing our VR expertise to gay VR enthusiasts, and we have already created scenes that are designed to appeal to women. The latter are already available on the HoloGilrs.com web site, with more to come over the next few weeks and months.

For the gay consumers, we have yet to release any scenes, but we have plans to ramp up the production and release of top quality gay VR Experiences very soon.
