ITC16 Taking Place @ University of Houston – November 14-16

The 2016 Immersive Technology Conference (ITC16) is being held in Houston TX November 14th ­16th at the University of Houston. ITC16 will have a particular focus on the business and commercial applications of Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR) technology and solutions.

 

VRTX Media will be hosting the first annual Immersive Technology Conference (ITC) in Houston this November 14 – 16, 2016, with a possible VIP start on Sunday, November 13.

 

The objective is to leverage Houston’s unique position as a global technology hub particularly for the energy, medical and aerospace industries to connect companies, developers and enthusiasts in the exciting and rapidly evolving VR, AR, and MR space and to showcase how products will enable businesses to deliver innovative and cutting edge solutions for their customers in (among others) the following industries:

Medical and Clinical Applications

Aerospace

Industrial and Technical Design

Training and Simulation

Architecture

Education

Telecommunication

Entertainment

Gaming

The conference will consist an 11,000 square foot expo floor and presentations/talk (presenters to be announced leading up to the conference). Presenters will speak on the state of virtual and augmented reality, up and coming technology/software solutions, development strategies, and real world applications for VR/AR in the above stated industries, and more.
