Enhanced “Senza Peso” Release & Interview

Kite & Lightening had just announced a richer, more detailed edition of the celebrated “Senza Peso” mini opera VR experience will be available on Tuesday, October 11 for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, then on Wednesday, October 19th for Samsung Gear VR.

This is the first release of Senza Peso to the consumer platforms, after becoming an overwhelming favorite among the pre-release developer community and winning the Proto Award, the VR industry’s highest recognition.

This final edition is the most vivid, visceral opportunity to experience the beautiful operatic journey through the afterlife. VR technology combined with the imagination of Cory Strassburger and the technical wizardry of Ikrima Elhassan enable the immersive magical experience.

The lineage of Senza Peso began as a creative journey within the genre-defying “Love Project” musical collaboration, which inspired the surreal short film, and finally evolved into the VR experience — a unique domino effect of creative collaboration across artistic disciplines.

The new VR release will be available for Vive headsets on Steam, for the Rift on the Oculus Store, and for Gear VR on the Samsung VR Platform.

Kite & Lighten has also released an interview video with creative director Cory Strassburger on the creative process and inspirations for the Senza Peso VR experience:
