Monster VR Hosting VR & AR Event / Hackathon with Titmouse Animation Studios and SVVR

Virtual reality is creeping into our media but not a lot of people get the full experience as we do…until now. As a community-driven development house, Monster VR has coordinated over 10 different hackathons, taught a VR Film School, organized a large-scale VR and AR conference, hosted monthly social mixers – all of which has led us to our our MOST EPIC event yet! More details about the application process will be announced.

We’re collaborating with Titmouse Animation Studios and SVVR (Silicon Valley Virtual Reality) to throw a hackathon in NorCal and SoCal simultaneously! Both events will be streamed and judged as one. This event will contain 100+ VR and AR talent coming together to create horror-themed experiences (hooray Halloween!), ranging from multiplayer games to sensory thrills. Every participant will have a chance to collaborate with Titmouse artists in Los Angeles, CA.”

In addition to top talent at Titmouse, we will also feature talent from Lucas Films and Blizzard Entertainment. Aspiring VR developers are generally encouraged to attend hackathons for their professional growth and networking opportunities. Monster VR’s primary philosophy has always revolved around nurturing the community‚Äôs awareness and adoption of VR and AR technologies. Please help us help others grow.
