NEWVIEW AWARDS 2018 Presents VR Content for Art, Fashion, Culture

Psychic VR Lab (Head office: Shinjuku-ku,Tokyo, Representative Director: Masahiro Yamaguchi), which provides VR Creative Platform “STYLY (http://styly.cc)”,and PARCO, Loftwork ajoint the project “NEWVIEW”. A global award “NEWVIEW AWARDS 2018” will be held as part of the project to discover VR contents in the fashion / culture / art field.

The award aims to pursue new expressions, cultures, and lifestyles such as ‘design of super-experience’ created by creators from next generations. Also, it aims to excavate all creators who are expressing near future, using 3D space (VR).

The theme is “DESIGN YOUR ULTRA EXPERIENCE!”. Mr.Ito Gabin, Mr. Hideki Matsutake, Takashi Senzui (Parco Co., Ltd.), Mr. Chen Yi-ching (Taiwan), and René Pinnell (USA) from KALEIDOSCOPE are taking charge of examiners. We are looking for great works from not only Japan but foreign creators working in various fields.

During the entry period (June 1st to July 31st, 2018), we are going to hold a workshop to support the creation of VR works in Tokyo, Kyoto, and all around the world. At the end of August, 2018, the exhibition of finalists’ artwork will be held in Tokyo.

We hope the ideas and works be pioneers of the the future expression.
