NextVR Presents World’s First VR Soccer Live Streaming
NextVR, the Laguna Beach, California based VR startup has announced a partnership with the International Champions Cup (ICC). The annual summer soccer tournament is hosted by Relevent Sports, a division of RSE Ventures. NextVR is among the few VR companies that specialized in live-streaming and live-broadcasting virtual reality content shot with 180-degree camera.

World’s First VR Live-Streaming Of International Champion Cup North America
NextVR will live-stream virtual reality content for the sold-out International Champions Cup match that will take place tomorrow, Saturday July 25 between the “Manchester United” & “FC Barcelona” at the Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The home of the San Francisco 49ers!
This marks the world’s first ever live virtual broadcasting for a major league soccer match! The live event will be captured via 5 vantage points across the soccer field, while being live-streamed to worldwide ( selected locations ) soccer fans in real-time!
NextVR and RSE Ventures wants to bring to fans a brand new highly immersive experience of a live soccer match that can be viewed and enjoyed by fans from any place in the world.
Live event broadcasting or live streaming is not new, but live-streaming “virtual reality content” is a breakthrough technology that would transport fans who are unable to attend in person to the event, and experience up close in real-time! The experience will be interactive, as the fans has the freedom to look around the live event and the stadium in any direction during the live-broadcast.
