Premiere in Germany: James Jensen (THE VOID) set to present the technology and content for futuristic VR theme parks at VR Now Con
James Jensen is the Chief Visionary Officer of THE VOID, one of the world's most exciting tech companies. He will be coming to the VR NOW Con – The Tech Biz Art Conference in Potsdam/Berlin on November 16 to speak for the first time and exclusively in Germany about the US start-up's plans for Virtual Reality Centers. Jensen will reveal how THE VOID is cooperating with Hollywood and indicate which kinds of content are likely to exist in the future and what kind of progress is being made by technology. Jensen's talk is part of a focus on ¨Location-based VR¨
The start-up THE VOID is regarded internationally as one of the most innovative and promising companies in its field. Using a mix of theme park and computer game, THE VOID combines layers of virtual reality and real life. In concrete terms, this means that when you visit the company's Virtual Reality Centers you can really touch and feel objects you see in virtual reality. The aim is to intensify the feeling of being in another world and yet simultaneously in a real one by means of specially manufactured gloves and rapture vests and by simulating rain and wind with sprinkler systems and air vents. Jensen describes what is being developed in the US state of Utah as the ¨next step in the evolution of entertainment.¨
Together with his co-founders Curtis Hickman and Ken Breischneider and a large team, James Jensen is working at full pelt on perfecting the immersion into another world and the connection with the real one. THE VOID gaming experiences are set to be launched around the globe from 2017.
