Projekt Rakija Augmented Reality App available on iTune

Projekt Rakija is a balkan/rock/electro/hiphop band from Holland, consists out of ten musicians, an illustrator and a graphic designer. Now the music might not be interesting for your platform but the graphic designer part might just be.. Projekt Rakija is one of the first to use AR together with 3D, vinyl, apps and a music video.

For their second Album Pump up the Radio they have a Vinyl edition which consists of a comic book made by the illustrator (Niels van den Berge) and additionally a marker on the Vinyl which works together with an iOS app.

Whilst hovering over the vinyl the 3D music video plays on screen of the iOS device. Besides that the 3D music video is an animation of the band made by the graphic designer, Maurice Baltissen. For iPhone users, this cool AR app can be download on this page.
