360 Degree Videos Now Available On Samsung Milk VR App

360 VR video has become an extremely popular format, and there are number of platforms that allow users to upload and playback of 360 video. Popular platforms such as YouTube allow users to watch 360 videos via the YouTube Android app, and for an immersive experience, you can even switch to the Google Cardboard mode simply by tapping the Cardboard icon. Facebook 360 videos can be viewed on any smartphone, and there’s also a “Watch In VR” icon where you can tap be prompted to insert your Samsung Galaxy phone into the Gear VR.

If you do not have VR headsets like the Google Cardboard or Gear VR, you are in good hands. Samsung released an Android app called the Samsung Milk VR, which enables you to watch 360 degree videos without requiring a Gear VR headset. You can stream the content as well as save the video to watch later.

How The Milk VR Mobile App Works

After the app has been installed from the Google Play store, you simply open the app and select the desired 360 video to watch, interact by panning the smartphone or swipe with finger. Devices Compatible With The Milk VR Mobile App and requires Android devices running 5.0 or above.
