SNATCH VR EXPERIENCE AVAILABLE ON PLAYSTATION VR BEGINNING JANUARY 16TH

Crackle, Sony Pictures Television Networks’ free, ad-supported streaming network, today announced that production on season two of its 10-episode original drama, “Snatch,” will kick off this month in Málaga, Spain, with “Entourage’s” Kevin Connolly directing several episodes on the Costa del Sol, as well as Tom Dey (Failure to Launch, Shanghai Noon) and Luis Pietro (“The Oath,” Kidnap). In addition, the show’s all-new VR heist game experience featuring Rupert Grint is available for free on PlayStation®VR beginning Tuesday, January 16th.

Snatch VR Heist Experience is a six-minute immersive branching narrative experience that transports the user into the middle of a safe-cracking diamond heist alongside additional “Snatch” series stars Luke Pasqualino (“Skins,” “The Borgias”), Lucien Laviscount (“Scream Queens”, “Honeytrap”) and Phoebe Dynevor (“The Village,” “Dickensian). The 3D stereoscopic experience premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival.

Returning in season two are series’ stars Rupert Grint as the utterly posh, Charlie Cavendish-Scott. Best known as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter film franchise, Grint also serves as an executive producer. In addition, the series stars an ensemble cast featuring Luke Pasqualino as Albert Hill, Lucien Laviscount as Billy Ayres, Dougray Scott as Vic Hill, Phoebe Dynevor as Lotti Mott and Juliet Aubrey as Lily Hill. In addition to Grint, the series is executive produced by Alex De Rakoff, who also serves as writer and showrunner, Aaron Ginsburg and William Green.

In season one, our up and coming hustlers stumble on a truck load of stolen bullion sending them into an insane criminal spiral and the world of organized crime. In this upcoming season, the team is on the lam and what begins as a well-deserved vacation quickly becomes a face off with a local kingpin; another thrill-a-minute fight to save their fortune, and ultimately their lives.
