STARTUP VR STUDIO CRYWORKS BECOMES HOLOR MEDIA

VR startup CryWorks, founded by Academy Award nominated film and gaming industry veterans Euan Macdonald, Hans Uhlig and Kymber Lim is changing its name to Holor Media (www.Holor.com). The multi-disciplined 360/VR media company, now comprised of Holor Studios, Holor Labs and Holor.tv (coming soon), will focus on producing and distributing next generation content while continuing to invent tools enabling the VR/Media creators of the future.
“Holor Media is bringing fans, creators and brands together in a way that’s never been done before,” said Euan Macdonald, co-founder of Holor Media. “As our technology evolves into next year, we will offer the first fully integrated platform for the creation and distribution of VR content from the hardware to create great experiences, to the platform to share it.”
In addition, Holor Studios is redefining storytelling through a unique creative perspective and shaping the way individuals interact and share 360/VR experiences. Previews of Holor Studios’ created content can be seen on HolorNow at Holor.com, allowing people a glimpse of next generation VR video. In addition to creating content for some of today’s top global brands, the studio was recently behind the scenes, with unprecedented access, on the set of Transformers 5 with director Michael Bay.
In the coming months, Holor Labs will bring to market new state-of-the-art technology for both professional and amateur creators that will make 360/VR much easier to create, share and view.
