TAVAR Launching Taiwan’s Association For Virtual Reality And Augmented Reality On March 23, 2016
Taiwan is the home of some important players in the global VR/AR ecosystem such as HTC and Nvidia. However, surprisingly, Taiwan still remains as another under-served VR/AR market and region.
TAVAR (Taiwan Association For Virtual Reality And Augmented Reality) is aiming to build and unite Taiwan’s very own VR/AR focused ecosystem, and connect with global VR/AR community. The association will be launch next week on on March 23 at 2pm CST in Taipei with a invitation only press event. The event will be hosted by celebrity reporter Catherine Lu, and live-streamed supported by livehouse.in , a Taiwan based game focused live-streaming service provider. The official event page.
TAVAR is founded by a group of Taiwan based Tech /VR/AR/360 startup entrepreneurs, the associate is non-profit organization that is aiming to bridge Taiwan’s very own Tech/VR/AR/360 community with worldwide communities. Another focus of TAVAR is working with Taiwan’s government, in order to gain government support to push the industry forward.
