A VR Game Much Like The Movie “Gravity”

Three One Zero showcased their latest VR game, Adrift, at the Upload VR’s world tour kickoff tour over the weekend. ADR1FT is a First Person Experience (FPX) from Three One Zero that tells the story of an astronaut in peril. Upon waking up, floating above Earth, she is alone, and only sees destruction, much like the movie “Gravity.”

Since the demonstration was displayed by the Oculus Dk2, the resolution was far from the quality of the original resolution. We can’t wait to experience the game on the Oculus consumer version that has enhance resolution quality and integrated accelerometer.

Aside from the Oculus Cresent Bay demonstration experience at the 2015 CES, Adrift is definitely one of the most immersive gaming experience that we’ve tried. Even though we were standing on flat ground, it does very much feel like we were float inside a broken spaceship. The game will be available for PC, Playstation 4, X-box One, as well as Oculus later this year.
