VIRTUAL GUEST LAUNCHES ‘VR WEDDING DIVISION

Australian-based VR studio Virtual Guest has just announced it’s first sub-brand in premium VR content creation, ‘VR Wedding.’ Utilizing the same cutting-edge technology used in Virtual Guest’s Cinematic VR productions including use of
pro-VR rigs such as the Nokia OZO, a VR Wedding aims to deliver professional-grade 360 degree videos that couples and their loved ones can re-live much like an out-of-body experience.

Virtual Guest Founder and CEO Brandon D’Silva sees a lot of potential with 360 video capture in the wedding industry. “I think it’s going to be extremely powerful when loved ones or newlyweds experience their first kiss and dance in VR,” says D’Silva.

VR Wedding isn’t the first to offer 360 video capture in the wedding scene, however they aim to be the leaders in service offering in the field. This includes providing content in 3D with spatial audio. D’Silva states that he plans to assist in the commercialisation of VR. “We’ll be offering premium capture at an introductory rate for a while, as well as giving away Cardboard viewers with each of our packages.”

VR Wedding by Virtual Guest provides its immersive wedding capture services worldwide, and is currently running a competition to win a free VR wedding eligible for Western Australian residents getting married between October 28th 2016-February 28th, 2017. More info can be found here.
