The cultural association Las Ranetas organizes from 11 to 27 November in Alcañiz (Spain) an “Exhibition of art realized in virtual reality with Tilt Bruhs and Kodon” and the “II Contest of shorts and experiences in virtual reality”

Exhibition of art realized in virtual reality with Tilt Bruhs and Kodon. With the recent arrival of the new virtual reality viewers a new support for the artistic expressions has been created. Now the visual artists have in the applications for virtual reality Tilt Bruhs or Kodon a new form to shape and to see the art.
In this exhibition, the association Las Ranetas has brought together a dozen international artists who will show us their works in Tilt Brush and Kodon, in addition the visitor will be able to interact with the works Of artists and create their own.
The show will include creations by artists such as Stuart Campbell (Australia) and Steve Teeple (USA) who have participated in the creation of Dr. Strange’s Tilt Brush experience for Marvel, Elizabeth Edwards (UK) From pioneering and inspiring virtual reality artists, to the Balkan team VR Human or to Peter Shearer, who delights us with spectacular bird illustrations from New Zealand.
II Contest of shorts and experiences in virtual reality
Following the success of attendees and the good reviews received in the first edition (November 2015 with an Oculus DK2), the association Las Ranetas organizes the second edition of the contest, this time extending its duration and having the new viewers of Virtual reality that have hit the market this year.
The visitor can see nine works received from different studies and with different themes. The spectator will enter the skin of Iskender, a prince seeking the “flower of immortality” with FIREBIRD – LA PÉRI, in the body of a nomo with GNOMES & GOBLINS, will attend the birthday of a hedgehog who wants to embrace the whole World with Henry or make a journey from the material world to the spiritual world with TRANSITION.

Place: Municipal exhibition hall, Calle Glorieta de Valencia, 1 in Alcañiz (Spain).
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 19h to 21h, Sundays from 12h to 14h, Monday closed.
