Jaunt VR Released “The Hobbit” VR Experience

In their latest cinematic VR production, Jaunt VR immerses audiences into The Shire, where you can see Gandalf as if you were standing at Bilbo’s door. Critics claimed the film was well produced with intense details. The 90 second film was designed to promote for Peter Jackson’s Hobbit “Trilogy.”

However, the experience is not really related to the movie at all. You can experience being inside the virtual world of hobbits.

Peter Jackson is exploring the virtual reality space closely, and will be spending two years to study how the emerging technology can enhance entertainment experiences.

Jaunt specialize in developing the technology that enables content creators to produce the best cinematic vr experiences.

The Hobbit VR experience was originally release on the Android platform, and can be downloaded for free on here. The film is supported by Google Cardboard, Oculus Goggles for both PC and Mac.
