Former Magic Leap Executives Raises 28 Million to Develop MR Killer App
According a report by Calcalist, Israel startup, Multinarity, announced completions of their recent investment round of $28 million for the company's seed round. The investment was led by Israel investor VC Aleph and US investor Corner Ventures.
The company secretly formed last year by former Magic Leap executives, and plans to create the first killer app for mixed reality. The company CEO Tamir Berlinger was Magic Leap's general manager in Israel, while co-founder Tomer Kahan was a senior director at Magic Leap.
As of now, little is known about the company's AR software. However, the company aims to provide users with daily and practical usages by building something that everyone hopes to see in the mixed reality domain.
The company hopes to create the optimum environment for communication, innovation, and collaboration. The report also noted that the company intend to use mobile for current and future AR devices, with applications beyond entertainment.
