Burning Man is a legendary week-long music festival that takes at Black Rock Desert. Anything goes in Burningman and what happened there, stays there. Period and no question shall be asked or answered. Perhaps, the wildest party in the world from my person experience from attending music festivals worldwide.

Shannon Norrell sees virtual reality as a movement and wish to spread the message by bringing a VR camp to this year’s Burning Man and its community!

According to Shannon, the VRCamp will consist of a large screen (30′ x 20′) for cinematic display of a variety of VR experiences including motion-capture suits tied to a giant Godzilla and a Mechanoid who dance together along with the crowd. Each night will have a different feature up on the big screen. On each side of the screen are two large “expo tents” (40′ x 20′) each containing eight demo stations running the latest VR hardware and software with the intent being to spread the word of VR.
