You can then make that into a selfie and share it on social media platform to impress your friends. At the moment, Naughty America only offers safe for work content, as app stores like Apple have strict rules about nudity.

Ian Paul envisions that the company will be providing the app for free, with avatars included in it. This way friends can have porn stars in the picture as they take selfies, which can be a lot of fun. The next step is to incorporate microtransactions to purchase other avatars of other adult performers. Perhaps one day things will end up in the social territory with these same avatars. Ian Paul mentioned that AR and blockchain are presently the two biggest focus for their company. There isn’t much hype of on AR and blockchain in porn right now, and Naughty America aims to take the lead once again as they did with VR.

The current state of VR porn lacks affordability for the mass majority. The VR porn industry is currently embracing the upcoming release of affordable mobile VR headsets, where experts predict will help induce a huge demand in virtual reality porn. With Oculus releasing the $200 USD Oculus Go headset and many others launching headset for a few hundred dollars, adult VR sees light at the end of the tunnel.

What headsets are available to watch AR porn?

We can only imagine the same situation happen with AR porn, as there are currently no headset available.

While Windows Mixed Reality headset promises combining VR and AR functions, the headset only supports playback of VR videos.

Unicorn startup, Magic Leap, has raised $1.4 billion from a list of investors including Google and Alibaba Group. The company is now valued at $4.5 billion USD without ever releasing or revealing a single product to the public. The company is known for developing a head-mounted virtual retinal display, called Magic Leap One, which superimposes 3D CGI imagery over the physical world. They do this by project a digital hologram into the user’s visual perception, which is the essence of augmented reality porn. It wasn’t until December 2017 that the company finally revealed picture and promising a 2018 release for the Magic Leap One headset.

In conclusion, at the present moment, virtual reality offers the best sexual experience. This is simply because augmented reality porn isn’t really available yet.
